How to Book Your MOT (Compliance Test)

Step 1: Book Your Appointment

Step 2: Ensure Your Car Has the Required Items

1 kg powder fire extinguisher.
First aid kit (check the expiry date).
Booster seats .
Three ‘No Smoking’ stickers:
- One on the windscreen.
- One on the right rear window.
- One on the left rear window.
If your rear windows are tinted:
- Ensure you have an internal recording camera and a CCTV operation sticker.
If your car does not have a spare tyre:
- Make sure the tyre repair fluid/kit is available and not expired.
If your car does have a spare tyre:
- Ensure the jack and wheel-nut/tyre tools are present.
Door stickers fitted on both sides.

Step 3: Check Your Vehicle Before Attending MOT

Confirm all lights are working (headlights, indicators, brake lights, etc.).
Ensure all tyres are in good condition.

Step 4: Bring the Required Documents

Your previous MOT certificate.
Your insurance certificate.
Your V5 logbook.
- If this is your first MOT, bring the green slip or the V5 along with your insurance.
